The Montana Wildlife Federation (MWF) is Montana’s oldest, largest, and most effective conservation organization. MWF was founded in 1936 by hunters, anglers, landowners, and other conservationists who were concerned about the loss of Montana’s natural lands, healthy waters, and abundant wildlife. Our dedicated staff maintains this legacy.
MWF has members all over Montana and the nation as well as a network of 15 local affiliate clubs. We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Over the years, MWF has conserved wild rivers, natural lands, abundant fish and wildlife, and public access for outdoor recreation.
