In addition to being a place for the community to gather and enjoy our handcrafted beer, part of Blackfoot River Brewing’s mission is to play an active role in making our community a better place to live. This includes partnering with and sponsoring community events and organizations that have helped make this area a special place to live and work.
Almost every Monday each year, we host a fund-raising event here in the Taproom for a specific local community organization. We provide the venue for the organization to connect with their supporters and the public over a good beer as well as raise funds for their group. The Blackfoot contributes $1.00 from every glass of beer sold on our Community Mondays to the sponsored group during our regular business hours, 2-8 p.m.
The Blackfoot has donated nearly $200,000 since beginning the program.
We hope you will join us for Community Monday throughout the year.

Blackfoot’s Community Partnership is collaboration between Blackfoot River Brewing, local businesses and community non-profits that come together for a shared vision of beer and community philanthropy.
Together we design and brew a beer, with guest brewers from our business and non-profit partner organizations. Blackfoot gets to share our craft and participants get to produce an independent craft beer of their own to share with the whole community.
Proceeds from the sale of the beer are matched by the business partner, thus making a significant contribution to the non- profit in support of the work that is done within our community.
Each partnership is unique in its participants, beer style, celebration and community outreach.
In 2018 we were lucky to partner with a great group of partners: Mosaic Architecture and Helena Food Share for the annual Fat Tuesday Party and release of the Mardi Gras Red Ale, CWG Architects and Prickly Pear Land Trust joined us for the Don’t Fence Me In Trail Run Celebration and the E-Trial Pale Ale, Helena Community Credit Union and Symphony Under the Stars collaborated with us to make the first signature SUTS beer- Galaxy Pale Ale for the Symphony this summer and The Montana Wilderness Association and The Base Camp Helena helped us host a block party in front of the Blackfoot Tap Room with the Juniper IPA with proceeds to go to helping protect wilderness!
We want to thank all of our partners for their great work and leadership in the Helena Community. The partnerships raised $5000 in support of the organizations listed above.
