Pinegrass, Missoula’s bluegrass variety show, has been popular in Western Montana for 25 years. Originally formed at the iconic Top Hat Lounge where the band played weekly on Tuesdays in the 90’s and 2000’s, Pinegrass is still going strong. Rooted solidly in bluegrass, old time, and folk, they are a fixture at the regional Hard Times Bluegrass Festival as well as local breweries, markets and outdoor events.

Led by river guide and banjo/dobro player Jack Mauer, Pinegrass has explored a diverse universe of tone from Celtic to country to Christmas all the way to Bob Dylan. On the Martin dreadnaught guitar and smooth lead vocals, Pinegrass showcases Ted Lowe. Fiddlin’ John Joyner also adds clawhammer banjo. Folksinger Britt Arnesen joined in 2015 as a singing “doghouse” bass player, tightening up the group’s powerful three-part harmonies.

Cask conditioned Juniper IPA brewed in partnership with The Base Camp & Montana Wilderness Association. This brand new IPA recipe includes juniper & spruce tips in the boil & fermenting tank for a very wild flavor!

Friday, Sep 28th - Cream dry-hopped with Cascade, Chinook, Centennial, and Citra hops

Smoooth Cream Ale dry-hopped with four hop varieties. Chinook hops are used for pine and spice aromas, Cascade hops are used for spicy citrus aroma with hints of grapefruit, Centennial hops offer intense citrus aroma with pronounced lemon notes, and Citra hops are super fruity with citrus aromas as well as tropical fruits such as passionfruit and lychee.

 

Wednesday, Oct 3rd - Lemongrass & Sage IPA

Single Malt IPA infused with fresh lemongrass and sage leaves.

Friday, Oct 5th - Key Lime Pie Gose

Our kettle sour Gose infused with key lime juice and graham crackers.
