Collaboration Rye IPA

 

Blackfoot River Brewing Company and Terminal Gravity Brewing Company teamed up to create our Collaboration Rye IPA! After months of planning between the two breweries, we were able to find the specific ingredients to create the flavor and characteristics for our first collaboration beer.

Terminal Gravity brewer, Josh Evans, joined us at the Blackfoot for a brew day and Blackfoot’s head brewer Tim Chisman traveled to Enterprise so that it was a true collaboration throughout the process.

The Collaboration Rye IPA is a deep amber-red color with a big aroma of malts and hops. The flavor has a complex maltiness with a slightly spicy grainy character coming from the rye. The hops create a pronounced yet smooth bitterness with dank, resinous flavor and earthy, spicy, herbal, and citrus characters.
