Sorachi Ace IPA

This is a version of our Singlemalt IPA that is brewed exclusively with Sorachi Ace hops grown in Washington.  This beer follows in line with the other “single hop” IPA varieties we have made, including Simcoe and Citra IPA.  Sorachi Ace is a hop variety that was developed in Japan and has been used in brewing in China and Japan for years, but has only recently become available in the United States. This hop produces an earthy, herbaceous flavor that is reminiscent of green tea. The floral aroma is offset with subtle notes of lemon and dill.
