Blackfoot’s Sour Cherry Ale is our take on a kettle sour version of a Kriek, but you won’t get any Brettanomyces characteristic because we used Lactobacillus to sour and our house yeast to ferment this beer. We then added over 100 lbs of cherries and let the magic happen. This beer has flavors of cherries, hard candy, and slight hints of caramel. The sweetness of the cherries balances out the tartness for a fun and unique beer.
