Helles Bock
Most people consider both Helles (“pale”) Bock and Mai (“May”) Bock to be synonymous. While Helles Bocks are enjoyed year round, Mai Bocks are usually released in May, typically at a festival. Blackfoot’s Helles Bock is a German style lager that is stronger than a traditional pale Pilsner style lager. It’s malty but well attenuated so it finishes clean with a nice lager character.
