British Ales tend to be relatively tame compared to the American versions. Or one could say that American Ales are generally bigger and bolder than the British beers they originated from. A British Pale Ale is lower in alcohol and has less hop character than an American Pale Ale.
British Style Pale Ale is rich golden in color with an aroma of mild malty sweetness and East Kent Goldings hops. The flavor is crisp, with a lime-citric hop flavor. The finish is dry, light and refreshing.
